Commercial floors arrive as a hard shell: concrete, glass and grid lighting. Functional, but cold. The brief for Flex-Co Working's full Level 3 floor was a space people would want to spend the day in, not just pass through.
The designer found us through the Linen Wave Pendant, then specified two across the floor. One sits above a lounge and breakout area, another over a round timber table in a corner meeting nook. The linen softens the concrete and glass and brings a residential calm to the room. It reflects a wider shift towards workplaces that feel considered rather than corporate.
