A small catalogue, quietly built

We are not here to fill homes. We are here to help people build them. Slowly, considered, with pieces that earn their place.

Fjord & Fuji is a curated edit of homeware and lighting. We work with makers and suppliers from around the world, choosing pieces that share a common grammar: material honesty, considered form, and the kind of restraint that ages into something deeper rather than dating out of fashion.

The name carries Japan and Scandinavia, but the eye travels further. The catalogue draws from Japanese restraint, Scandinavian honesty, Mediterranean weathering, and contemporary European form. Each programme is named, photographed, and presented with intention. We do not design or make these pieces; we choose them, name them, and tell their story.

The collection grows slowly and on purpose. Fewer, better things, kept on the page only when they continue to earn their place.

Our point of view

An eye for raw Japandi

Rooted in what designers are now calling raw Japandi, an evolution of restraint that is warmer, more textural, and more sensory than the original. We curate on the principle that the most enduring design shares a common grammar wherever in the world it comes from. Not a trend. A way of seeing.

Colour palette

Warm whites, stone, cocoa, olive, terracotta. Coloured neutrals that hold a room without dominating it.

Natural materials

Stoneware, linen, oak, walnut, rattan, hemp, polished and brushed metal. Materials that age into themselves.

Form and function

Pieces chosen for both their beauty and their purpose. The form does the work; the function follows quietly.
