Kura, Solid Wood Plinth Table

The Kura is a single block of reclaimed solid timber, hand-built in our UK workshop and finished to show the wood's full character: knots, grain figure, natural variation in tone. It reads as one continuous form, with a hidden block plinth support beneath. The whole piece carries the weight of older timber repurposed, with the visual quietness that comes with it.

At 84cm long, 41cm deep and 28cm tall, it sits between a low coffee table and a generous side table. Use it as a plinth coffee table against a low sofa, an end-of-bed bench, a styling object beside an entrance, or a designer accent in a hotel suite, restaurant or commercial interior. Each piece is built to order, so dimensions can be tailored if your project needs a specific fit.

Kura means storehouse in Japanese. The piece carries that same quality: solid, considered, holds presence without forcing it.
