Mura, Hand-Thrown Ceramic Plate, Large 29cm

The Mura Plate is a hand-thrown ceramic dinnerware piece with a deliberately uneven, mishapen rim that celebrates the imperfections of the throwing process. No two plates are identical: each carries the small variations of human hands at the wheel, finished in a quiet warm white glaze that lets the form speak.

This is the large 29cm size, designed as a full dinner plate or a generous serving plate. It pairs naturally with our Mura Small 20cm plate for layered table settings, or stands alone for considered single-course meals.

Mura means uneven or pattern in Japanese. The plate carries that quality through every piece: each a slight variation, all unmistakeably from the same hand.
