Mura, Hand-Thrown Ceramic Plate, Small 20cm

The Mura Plate is a hand-thrown ceramic dinnerware piece with a deliberately uneven, mishapen rim that celebrates the imperfections of the throwing process. No two plates are identical: each carries the small variations of human hands at the wheel, finished in a quiet warm white glaze that lets the form speak.

This is the small 20cm size, designed for starters, side dishes, breakfast plates, dessert and small servings. It pairs naturally with our Mura Large 29cm dinner plate for layered table settings.

Mura means uneven or pattern in Japanese. The plate carries that quality through every piece: each a slight variation, all unmistakeably from the same hand.
