Collection: Chrome Trays & Catch-All Dishes

Polished chrome and brushed stainless steel trays, made to catch the small things that otherwise end up scattered. Keys and coins by the door, rings beside the basin, a phone and a candle on the coffee table. Each piece is finished by hand, so the reflections are never quite uniform, and that is the point: a mirror-bright surface that still looks made rather than manufactured.

Chrome works because it borrows from everything around it. Against pale oak it reads warm, against linen it reads cool, and on a dark timber table it becomes the brightest thing in the room without adding a single colour. It is the easiest way to introduce metal to a calm interior without the weight of iron or the fuss of brass.

Choosing a catch-all dish

Smaller lobed trays suit a bedside table or a bathroom shelf, where they hold jewellery and little else. Wider shell and serving forms earn their place on a coffee table or console, where they gather the day's clutter into something deliberate. If you are buying for a hallway, size up: the tray that looks generous in a photograph is usually too small in a real entryway.
