Collection: Stoneware Plates

Hand-thrown stoneware plates, made in small runs so the glaze pools differently at every rim and no two plates are quite the same. Dinner plates for the everyday setting, smaller side plates for bread, cheese or a starter, all fired in the same speckled clay and sold in matched sets.

Sizes run from 20cm side plates to 29cm dinner plates. Six of one plate is more useful than two each of three, and mixing within a single glaze family reads as considered rather than accidental.

Caring for stoneware plates

Dishwasher safe unless the product page says otherwise. Let a hot plate cool before it meets cold water, and treat the small variations in glaze and form as the mark of hand-throwing rather than a fault.
